Emergency Evacuation Plan

Commercial buildings, factories, and offices are complex structures where many people gather. In the event of a fire or other emergencies, it will be very difficult to escape. 🆘 . Therefore, it is important to have an escape plan in place to ensure that people can evacuate safely.

An evacuation plan mainly includes the following elements:

🔸 Develop an evacuation plan

- Mark all entrances and exits, emergency exits, evacuation routes, fire extinguishing equipment, etc., on the floor plan

- Ensure that occupants (employees, people entering and leaving the premises) are familiar with the above information

🔸 Develop escape routes and procedures

- Ensure that markings are easily identifiable and clearly stated for all exits

-Specify escape routes for employees and visitors, e.g. which exit/emergency stairs to use

🔸 Fire drills

- Perform regular drills to ensure employees are familiar with procedures and routes

🔸 Review and update the plan regularly

- Renew and readjust according to the requirements of the Fire Services Ordinance and the building needs
