Pui Ying Secondary School
In November 2024, GABES and pilot partner Pui Ying Secondary School co-hosted the world’s first fire drill using a dynamic evacuation system. A controlled real fire triggered the system, simulating an unannounced fire emergency.
More than 300 students and staff followed AlphaLights’ dynamic evacuation guidance for the first time. Everyone successfully moved away from the fire source, demonstrating the reliability of the AlphaNexus system.

Landmark East
Wireless Fire Safety Upgrade in Eight Days
GABES deployed AlphaNexus across the corridors and lift lobbies of Landmark East in Kwun Tong, completing installation in just eight days. Combining 157 AlphaSense detectors with the AlphaView platform, the system provides fire detection, real-time alerts and remote monitoring, while wireless deployment reduces cabling work and tenant disruption.

Keeping Protection in Place During Renovation
GABES deployed temporary wireless fire detection across the renovation area at Sky100 in the International Commerce Centre, installing 33 AlphaSense detectors in two days. AlphaView provides real-time monitoring and mobile alerts without modifying the building’s permanent fire system. The equipment can be removed and redeployed once renovation is complete.
